Nawaz shot himself in the foot, crying wolf, his Punjab supporters burst into vandalism, shouldn’t they be advised not to stretch the patience of ‘Jiyalas’ too much?

Nawaz got from the Supreme Court what he asked for it. He was debarred from contesting election for any public office by Lahore High Court, which was ultimately upheld by Supreme Court, as he persistently refused to appear before the court and mocked and jeered the sitting judges. Nawaz seems to have not learnt anything since he had orchestrated an attack on the then Supreme Court headed by Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, who was unceremoniously removed by the Nawaz government. Had he been checked and given stern punishment for the heinous crime that he had committed by denigrating the judiciary and the judges, he would not have dared to do so, what he is now engaged in so daringly. Had Nawaz been a Sindhi and Sajjad a Punjabi, would have he been spared for a similar crime that actually Nawaz then committed?
Supreme Court this time again took a very lenient view of his criminal offense of repeatedly maligning and mudslinging on the existing judges and the judiciary by simply upholding the LHC verdict. This once again gives rise to the same question that had any leader from any other province other than Punjab would have behaved in a similar way, the Supreme Court would have let him go cheaply. Nawaz’s love for deposed Justice Chaudry Iftikhar could very well be seen in the same context.
Benazir had successfully cut a deal with the then President Musharraf, but Nawaz calling an all parties conference in London, conspired to stall the deal materialize, came in league through Chaudry Aitzaz with the then Chief Justice Chaudhy Iftikhar, who later went on implementing the agenda provided by his master Nawaz, which mainly aimed at ushering in the Punjab hegemony unchallenged. Despite Iftikhar’s all judicial maneuverings through his political judgments, the plot didn’t seem achieving the target, as the all parties’ heads together could not match Benazir’s sagacity and acumen in politics. To cut short, Benazir was brutally murdered at Rawalpindi like her father who was hanged at Kot Lakhpat jail by the people having the same mindset aspiring for unchallenged Punjab hegemony.
Circumstantial evidences abound, which for reasons the media dominated by Punjab never let the public having a smell of it. Besides Benazir’s, there was one more public rally at Rawalpindi addressed by Nawaz Sharif on the same black day December 27, 2007, which for hours continuing winded up peacefully, while the other rally was targeted by a barrage of gunshots and bombing. Benazir laid dead much to the relief of all those conspiring for Punjab hegemony, while Nawaz in that heated moments freely moved about and even went to the Rawalpindi hospital for shedding his crocodile tears.
Nawaz with lot of dilly-dally agreed to participate in the elections and much to his disappointments, the elections were held relatively peacefully. One of the top PPP leaders, Makhdoom Amin Fahim from Sindh was being tipped for the PM slot, which Nawaz vehemently opposed, as by all means he wanted this slot for Punjab and PPP capitulating brought in Yusuf Raza Gilani. Nawaz for some time have been trying hard to dig a wedge between PM YRG and President Zardari playing up ethnic affinity factor, not knowing that he is toying with the fire, which if let loose might engulf the whole nation tearing apart the country into pieces.
Nawaz is all praise for PM YRG and holds President Zardari responsible for all the maladies on earth. He says he is willing to talk to PM YRG, but not to President Zardari even on his dead body. It is difficult to say who is more preferable, if the choice is between Zardar and Nawaz, but the fact remains that Zardiri underwent the incarcerations for long ten years, while Nawaz hardly after a month in jail complained of biting mosquitoes, made a deal with President Musharraf and stealthily fled from the country for living a princely life in Saudi Arabia all these years. Zardari and his family’s contribution to the struggle for restoration of democracy in the country still remains unmatchable, which the entire world is well aware of. Judging Nawaz, Zardari, Iftikhar, Dogar etc on moral ground makes no sense, as the entire nation is more or less equally dishonest and corrupt.
The way Shahbaz Sharif was ruling in Punjab must have ashamed the soul of Jam Sadiq Ali, who had been notoriously known for getting political opponents murdered in police encounter branding them bandits. According to a very conservative estimate, Shahbaz got eliminated as many as over 300 persons in police encounters during his brief tenure as CM in Punjab. Even the dictators would have felt ashamed the way he handled the government affairs, as his words were declared law of the province and the officials were asked to comply without any let and hindrance.
Nawaz and his ML-N workers would be better advised to exercise some restraint in their agitations for whatever reasons it may be and not let the PPP ‘Jiyalas’ patience stretched beyond limits or else this time he would not get time to flee away, no matter which king or prince’s support he might claim, as by and large the masses still remain loyal and devoted to PPP.

Zadari has shown his true credentials once again he is a ‘yazidiad’, who time and again has shown his lack of integrity or morals. The verdict of the court was under the direct pressure of the fraudulent Presidency. The credibility of the Government of Pakistan has once again been dragged through the mud on the world stage. This is far from being an internal matter of Pakistan, it is a tyrannical regime in the making a man who could not even satisfy the requirement of BA to sit in the Presidency is now utilising all the amendments of the constitution made by the previous dictators to over ride even the will of the electorate the sooner he is driven from office the better. All the politicians including Sharifs should go back to their homes, the Army should stay in the barracks and people, whose hands and hearts are clean should lead the country forward.

Nawaz Sharif is an antagonist, whose politics revolves around confrontation. Confrontation, say who know him well, runs into his blood and defiance is in his character. Adamant, obstinate and hatefully stubborn by nature Nawaz Sharif (I don’t want to sound disrespectful to him but its true) is a walking affront to Pakistan’s politics, whose only contribution to Pakistan politics over last two decades has been polarization and nothing else. Government or in opposition his preferred way of doing politics has always been to confront rather sorting things out through reconciliation. To him politics of co-operation, understanding and tolerance is something an unknown entity since he’s an obsession to confrontation.
From his first scuffle that brought him to limelight of national politics with Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, when he was Chief Minister in Punjab, to his last brawl with General Musharaf –his own hand picked Army Chief- back in 1998; in each battle that pushed the country into a nerve wrecking political chaos Nawaz Sharif has been a main character. If democracy could not flourish in 90s and if state institutions could not be strengthened, then lion’s share of responsibility lies on Mian Sb’s heavy shoulders. For it is his lust to come into power by removing an elected Government through agitation or through backdoor conspiracies with establishment and later, after coming into power, it is his hunger to grab more and more authorities that did not let the democracy take roots in here.
Before late Benazir Bhutto maneuvered his come back from exile with then powerful President Musharaf many had estimated his eight years abroad had taught him so much that now he has become a matured leader and won’t indulge himself in confrontational politics any longer once he’s allowed to play his political role in the country. Repeated vows by him and his younger brother Shabaz Sharif of not repeating past mistakes ever again on every public forum and promise by them to make a new beginning in Pakistan’s politics by making concerted efforts to promote true democratic culture and values in the country further cemented this feeling that Mian Brothers are really changed.
But the moment Nawaz Sharif and Shabaz Sharif moved in and restarted their politics here; high hopes built up through years of rhetoric’s, vanished in no time. Nawaz Sharif shown his true color by gradually tilting to agitation on one pretext or the other. His real face became obvious just recently when he instigated people to come out onto street to what he called protest against the Government for not restoring Iftikhar Choudry, ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan. The call for agitation has come from his side at times, when country needs reconciliation on broader and wider scale and lots of sacrifices on every one’s part needed for larger good of the nation.
Widespread buzz in the country about why Nawaz Sharif showing this much fervor to restore one PCO judge, not judiciary, as Chief Justice of Pakistan, is Nawaz Sharif got convicted in plane hijacking case and runs the risk of being disqualified from participating into active politics, if current courts remain there. Behind so many roars by him for Iftikhar Choudry restoration, this is widely believed, is not his desire of an independent judiciary or even rule of law in the country, but in fact is this deep seated fear in PML(N) close circles that beloved leader’s political future stands on the brinks of collapse for good. His position, legal experts say, in ongoing case is very week and, if decided on merit, he stands disqualified. Another thing that, in many views, making Nawaz Sharif restless is his lust for power that brewing intensely inside him. Zardari has become President and People’s Party has come into power is something Nawaz Sharif is finding hard to digest. His eyes are affixed on President-ship while his goons are eyeing for another heavy mandated Government, that too without any coalition with any other political party.
Since PML(N) knows well that through constitutional way this is just not possible for them to come into power for a foreseeable future that’s why its secretly attempting ultra constitutional ways like instigating people to come out on to the streets for agitation. Nawaz Sharif and his goons are invoking fears amongst ordinary people about country’s future, raising alarm about how Zaradari running country’s affairs etc.
However, things do not seem to be working the way they want to. Realities on ground are different, this time around. A genuinely elected Government is in place with a legitimate mandate of five years. President and prime minister, despite some attempts by some ill wishers to create rifts between them, enjoying warm relations. Army is keeping itself at a safe distance from politics and most important Nawaz Sharif is no longer in its good book, either. There is no chance that any misadventure may help him at all.
In my humble opinion better choice for Nawaz Sharif in present circumstances would be to become pragmatic if he really wants to ensure his political future. He has to stop playing in some vested interests’ hands. Confrontation won’t help him this time as it did in the past. This time he stands on the other side of the fence that too all alone with none to support.

Only time will tell who has shot himself in the foot. At least Nawaz is following his election manifesto. In fact, we do not want any institution in this country and if some one forgoes his past mistakes and wanted to do something for the country. PPP is the sole champion of democracy in this country. If Supreme Court gives decision against PPP leadership, it is then judicial murder. Now PPP says its court decision? Can PPP justify the Governor rule in Punjab? Where was the Governor rule when Sindh was burning after BBs murder? No one is learning lessons from the past.

It has been a severe lack of judgment on the part of Sharif Brothers to have trusted People’s Party and participate in February 2008 elections. They provided legitimacy to the so-called deal between the military dictator and PPP. PCO had not been lifted and judiciary had not been restored, when the elections were held. It would have been wise to have the PCO lifted before the new elections. Musharraf was as conniving as the PPP. He got himself elected as the President of Pakistan by the outgoing assembly, but he very cleverly kept PCO intact. Muslim League (N) did not have the foresight that once they had been used and the need over then the People's Party would not only turn against them, but also spare no effort to destroy the leadership of PML (N). This is precisely what has happened. We all know that politicians have no ethics and one cannot expect anything better from the likes of Pakistani politicians. This is one of the major reasons that Pakistan is in such dire strait today.
‘Kamzarfi’ is rife amongst this group. They are very selfish, greedy and power hungry. Their own interest comes first. No one has ever given a damn about Pakistan's reputation and honor. Yet again these politicians have brought shame to their country. Sharif Brothers may be playing politics of principal since the February 2008 elections, but the mere fact that they cooperated with this party means that they lost sight of their principles and joined the collaborators. Now not only them, but also the whole country will pay the price of their lack of judgment. In the present climate of economic uncertainty and war that is creeping into the mainland it is amazing to see such petty and shameful games being played in this country. We can see now why certain political parties abstained from participating in 2008 elections. They have been proved right. There are bitter lessons here for the PML (N). They have been checkmated by the PPP. I wonder if now there is enough wisdom around amongst this group to at least stand united and not join forces with the party of collaborators with the dictator and the powers abroad. Deals, deals and more dirty unethical deals are turning this country into a failed state. How much more do the poor of this country have to suffer?

Only fools would believe that justice would prevail after Iftikhar Chaudry's re-instatement. Socrates had asserted that the good was coextensive with knowledge, in the sense that if one knew the good, he would follow it. There is a long journey to cover. If my poor memory serves me better when the current parliament had not taken oath rumours were there that Nawaz Sharif has eyes fixed on the next elections. This reflects their democratic attitude. Then he had popularity 86%. Even if elections are held today, results would be for coalition once again.
That is true that politics is the art of manipulation, but sometimes it is dangerous. The stand he took before elections and made part of the election manifesto was carefully crafted not by him, but naive advisors. Nawaz himself would be a first victim of independent judiciary and time would come, when their bodies would be dragged on the Mall Road-Lahore. The forces they are unleashing would be beyond their capacity to control. Personally, I see no future for Sharif Brothers. They are mistaken.
Now they will forge policies like China - what a heck this nation has heard many slogan and examples were given for Taiwn, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. Now China.
All I remember before 1970 elections Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was addressing a public rally at Nishtar Park, Karachi and Jamiat students had raised slogans ‘Chiney choha hay’ ‘bhag jao’. Two days later Chu-En-Lahi wrote letter to Yahya Khan that please advice your politicians not to drag China in their internal politics. Perhaps, Jang can re-produce those excerpts. Today Qazi is going to China and signing agreements.
Neither Sharif nor his diehards has economic and political acumen. This country would only flourish when purely Pakistani's own policies would be created considering the intellect of this nation and culture. Emulation is a dangerous principle. Like before 1970 election, there were diehards that 1956 constitution be restored because they lacked capacity to develop a new document. Who were the people who helped develop the 1956 constitution posterity must delve deep into.
Bhutto and his collagues proved that they are creative and able to develop a consensus document and thus 1973 constitution. Survival of this nation is to invest in long-term gestation prescriptions that would call for patience, courage, sacrifices and leadership.
Nixon writes Mayo moved mountains but he killed millions. When Chinese General and Minister were riding bicycles our Generals were travelling in US Chevrolet cars. This is the difference. Sharifs have no future at all.

Whatever is going on in the country, it's not surprising. It was all planned by this Govt. who is ruled by one-man show who is non-graduate and also illiterate, because he doen't know the spelling of God. When such president is running the country, then everything can happen by all kangaroo court of this country, whether it is High Court or Supreme Court. These courts are run not by Laws but they are run by the orders issued from president. What a country?
The most surprising and astonishing thing is this that civil disobedience has started, but the Armed forces Chief is enjoying his trip to USA. It is the duty of Armed forces to maintain peace in the country and save Pakistan from internal and external aggressions. This time every Pakistani is compelled to think on this ground that whatever it's happening it is all blessing and support of Armed forces. Army Chief cannot save his skin by saying these words "Army will not interfere in the process of democracy, but they will save their image".
If God forbid, the country will not exist then what the Army will do. These corrupt politicians don't deserve Democratic Govt. They are all obedient servants of Generals and Armed forces. They are self-responsible for calling Army in the country. As long as these corrupt and traitor politicians and their ‘jiyalas’ exist, Pakistan will never be in peace. The time has come when it is not the Army nor courts, but it is people of Pakistan, who can wipe out these politicians from this stage.

Mr. Nawaz Sharif and his brother think no law should apply on them, if any decision comes in favor of them, the High Court and Supreme Court is good, if decision comes against them, then both brothers react badly against the superior courts of Pakistan. What a shame, Mr. Nawaz Sharif, one side you're fighting in favor of former Chief Justice Ch. Iftikhar and now what you and your party workers doing against the Supreme Court decision in which both of you were declared disqualified to run for any public office based on your party tickets. I think, Mr. Sharif you deserved for it, but not your brother Mr. Shabaz Sharif, I suggest you Mr. Sharif, why not just retire from politics and go to Mecca for another Hajj and live rest of your life in your both palaces in Raiwind or London.

Whatever, it is not democracy. Governor of Punjab's attitude towards the elected representatives was not in accordance with democratic values. The judgment was a sad incident. Mr. Sharif needs to appeal court decision against him "not to run public office upon his party ticket", he should file an appeal to the Supreme Court instead of go out into public and appeal for destruction of Pakistan by burning cars/vans/buses/ government buildings/ furniture/killing innocent people or criticizing President of Pakistan, this must stop by Mr. Sharif and his party workers for the sake of Pakistan. Pakistan cannot afford this kind of Mr. Sharif leadership and his party workers destruction to the public and government properties.

It is the second best moment in 8 years, first when he was expelled and second is now. All these people who are protesting are idiots from Lahore, Chinot, Sheikhupura and their brand is stupid looking ‘phool butey mufler’ around their necks and ‘reshmi shalwar kameez’. These people are the one I have been talking about that they are the ‘majey gamey’ of Lahore. Arrest all of them along with these PML (N) Khawateen and put them in the same cell in which you will put these guys. I hate Pakistani women protesting on the streets because they look so dumb.
Whether it was court or Zardari, it was the right decision for this ‘lohar’. Throw him out of the country along with Shahbaz. Now I am waiting for a General to come and kick Zardari out and I hope the day will come soon when I'll see these so-called ‘jiyalas’ with stupid looking ‘topi’ be arrested and kicked. This nation has not learnt and will never learn language of love.
These politicians have corrupted the minds of masses just like Mr. Bhutto used to fool during his speech. These people have not learnt to differentiate between the language of an honest and corrupt politician in 30 odd years. This is the only reason that some intelligent people have started on GEO TV programs like GHAMDI, GEO Kitab for a small hope that these Majey Gamey will become good people. But my advice to Ghamdi is that he should promote ‘Kamalism’ because Mr. Ghamdi you are a good man, but these Mullahs control the street of masses and this is the only reason I call them dumb headed fools even though I know I am not using the right words.

Whatever protests we are witnessing all across Punjab are a spontaneous reaction of the masses to the undemocratic measures of Mr. Zardari. Until now, the PML-N has not even launched an organised campaign against Mr. Zardari's government. No doubt that violent protests, strikes are not good for our country at all, but what other choice is left for the people who through the power of their votes, gave PML-N a clear mandate to rule and are now witnessing their mandate being grossly undermined. February 25 was undoubtedly one of the darkest days in our nation’s political history. A twice elected former Prime Minister and a democratically elected chief-minister, both leaders of the 2nd largest political party have been eliminated from the political arena through connivance of the government in power and a controversial judiciary that has taken its oath under the PCO and was appointed by a dictator. The fact is that right from day one, Zardari had been planning for the dismissal of the PML-N government in Punjab. He appointed Salman Taseer, a former Musharraf ally, as Punjab governor to give tough time to PML-N and to work for the goal of ultimately establishing a PPP led government in Punjab. And this goal has on several occasions been explicitly stated by Zardari and Taseer themselves.
It appears that Zardari wants to bolster his diminishing popularity among the PPP rank and file, by taking credit for establishing a PPP led government in Punjab, after 3 decades. This is why he first got his political rivals declared disqualified for holding public office, through his faithful judges and then immediately imposed Governor's Raj in Punjab. Even if one assumes that Zardari had nothing to do with the court's judgment, one really fails to understand the motive behind imposition of governor's rule for two months. The only logical reason for this is that these 2 months will be time enough for his cronies to hatch conspiracies, and to revert to the infamous 'black arts' of horse-trading, (a practice that all political parties including PPP publicly abhor), in order to realize their dream of establishing a PPP led government in the Province.
Mr. Zardari and his associates, who have never been directly elected by the people, who looted and plundered our country in the past and against whom there is also substantial evidence in this regard are now absolved of all their past sins and wrongdoings, thanks to the NRO. Whereas the genuinely elected/popular leaders are declared ineligible for holding public office, by a puppet kangaroo court, on directives from Mr. Zardari, merely because these leaders stick to their principles on national issues and stand by the commitments they made to the people who elected them. Everyone knows that the Plane Hijacking Case on the basis of which these leaders have been disqualified was a farce. In contrast, the beneficiaries of the NRO have far serious cases of corruption against them. Why isn’t they declared disqualified by any court? Why are there different laws for different people in the same country? And if NRO was not enough, we now have a separate set of laws, i.e. 'nizam-e-adal' for the people in the north of the country. By disqualifying popular liberal/secular political leaders like Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Shairfs, Mr. Zardari and his faithful judiciary is creating a conducive environment for religious extremists to prosper.
After all what was the crime of Mian Shahbaz Sharif? Is subsidizing bread for the poor a crime? Is the provision of free medicines to the poor a crime? Is selfless public service a crime? These are the questions, which arise in the minds of the people of Punjab. Mr. Zardari and the PPP never tire of reiterating their commitment to democracy. But from his actions it seems that their narrow definition of democracy equates to a government of PPP everywhere. As it is said that actions speak louder than words, Mr. Zardari will go down in history as a despot, who caused irreparable damage to democratic setup in Pakistan.

Are Jiyalas for Pakistan or PPP? Jiyalas vandalized the whole country on Benazir's death. So why complain when the same is done by PML-N supporters. Zardari did not keep his word and written agreements. Are PPP supporters blind, do they not realize that in order for them to exist, there has to be a Pakistan. Elected representatives of Punjab are denied the right to represent their constituents, and a black blanket is thrown on Punjab by Governor rule. President appoints Governor, not the people. President himself is servant of People of Pakistan, how can he deny his masters, to be represented by their on chosen people.
As for as Nawaz Sharif is concerned, he did learn in eight years in exile, and he shook hand with Zardari, helped him and supported him, and legitimized election by taking part in them to bring democracy. What he did not learn is, "How not to trust anyone”. He trusted Musharraf and chose him to be Chief of Army Staff, he showed his true colours, 8 years later he trusted Zardari, (who in fact has never hidden his colours) and is now suffering consequences.

I salute the principled stand of Nawaz Sharif and his party on free judiciary issue but what I think is that their response to the current verdict will be more fruitful for them and their party if they succeeded in thwarting the PPP whims and ambitions for capturing the Punjab government and I think that can be done only, when they keep their force united, which they proved today in the form of 211 MPA's of Punjab in the parliamentary party's meeting, if they succeeded to have all those on their side till end, then the conspiracy of the decision be proved to the nation that the verdict came from presidency or at least have the backing and support of Zardari, which currently is not so clear and they have lame excuses to defend them. Secondly, this will also prove the dictatorial attitude of the presidency and its intentions to disturb the lawyers’ movement at any cost.

It is tragedy that is being watched by us all. The situation does not demand the acts of this kind. Years after years we have learned nothing from the history. The persons who fought against the PML N leaders, the lions were not reproduced in the courts even they were not revealed. The state defended the case for the lions and did such a harm that is not very easy to be re-compensated. The people are not accepting the decision. The world is thinking by keeping the fingers in their teeth and is putting a big question mark on the working of democracy in our beloved country. The Sharif brothers the true and only true leaders are quite right at this time and they have been exploited by the time-servers.

Sharif brothers are the most confrontational politicians. Big time looters and nonsense brothers Pakistan has ever produced. They have fought with two Presidents, three CJs, two COASs, and every politician in opposition. I wish they are kicked out of the country for good and let educated middle class take over. We may not like Zardari but this is 3rd President they are fighting with. How military let them talk against Army and how civil society let them insult judiciary. Zardari has shown his true colour. PPP is a fascist party with strong belief in lawlessness. Zardari’s decision through so-called supreme court judges who greatly lack credentials and legitimacy announced that Punjab should also come under the spheres of Zardari’s vandalism. PPP had a definite role in breaking Pakistan in 1971. Now they are slowly, but steadily moving towards undoing it completely. In a society, where corrupt persons like Zardari became president and are controlling all Govt. actions and political moves, what else can be expected? This Decision of Zardari will prove to be a catalytic agent to eliminate Pakistan from world map. Our rulers who are not ashamed of continuously lying can do anything including giving Air base to a foreign country and just protesting for a formality on Drone’s attack. What a shame that Pakistanis are being killed by Pakistanis and by foreign powers from Pakistani soil.
It is crystal clear law that those judges cannot try the cases where they are a party. Morally and legally, those judges could not try the case but they had to obey the orders of a civilian dictator who knows nothing but corruption, lies and complete obedience to foreign powers as their agent. God help Pakistan. I foresee bloodshed in Pakistan followed by its complete disintegration. We have provided reasons for that. We tried to completely deviate from our commitment to enforce Islam in Pakistan and on the contrary started abusing Islam and its followers. To wear Muslim dress and look like a Muslim with beard has become a crime in Pakistan. Secular elements with scanty or very little knowledge of Allah, Islam and His Prophets are busy in teaching Islam to Islamic scholars who spent their lives in studying and practicing Islam.
Zardari has done an irreparable loss to Pakistan. We pray that lawyers’ movement, which is actually a freedom movement, should succeed. Otherwise what is the use of such a country where courts are being completely controlled by Govt.? Nawaz Sharif has now of late proved to be a politician of principle where he sacrificed ministries and part in govt. on his stand of restoration of judiciary.

No one here is loosing his sleep on what they say is the political squabble between the two crooks. They all say that Zardari should not be doing this and Nawaz should not be responding like that. At the very wise and sensible mode, it should be all peaceful. Zardari has more cards to play with America and military more on his side and Pak people just are too confused about one leader being too stubborn and the other being too intrusive. Most people are only watching while few expecting political and financial gains are the minority ones to do damage to nation's property on some not that worrisome scale. Common man need not worry a lot as the world's oil and food prices are down and much down. And the world's two most important countries America and China not only want to help Paks financially, they are doing it practically to at least make the common Pak smile as well.
Pakistan is not dooming, but is rather doing not that bad financially, when there is one of history's worse economic melt down all over the world. As a matter of fact, Paks have been helped to increase Forex reserves to over 10 billion dollars. Do not worry about Pak economy no matter what doom words of Zardari or Nawaz say about our dear Pakistan. India's economy has slowed down to 5 percent and Paks are hanging tough with there's around similar numbers.
Senator Kerry, Mr Obama, China, Europe, Japan and every important nation thinks of Pak most important geo-strategy and Pak people with some chess game interest in ruling and opposition leaders. Pakistan may have worse traitors within, worse enemy sitting as neighbour, politically made rich and robber leaders, disgruntled few or many but not the most in the least, foreign paid suicide bombers and what else not.
The nation has seen suicide bombings of worse kind with loss of life and this political tire burning or slogan raising is just cake walking for susceptible, resilient and propensity laden tough Paks. For most Paks, Zardari-Nawaz or PPP-PML-N duo is only nothing more than a rough stage drama. And the rough drama actors are only few who have nothing to frighten the Pak people who had gone through suicidal bombings. People see only a waste of time in it except for those who have spare time at hand.
Paks have 200 billion tons of coal to change their lives in future. Paks have strong nuke deterrant, have sympathy from big powers and most important Paks are not hurting any country or people except some sad inside drama like this latest one. I would rather be more interested in Pak's grandest natural scenery, its first six largest glaciers in the world outside the arctic, its most important geo-strategy and its remarkably beautiful people. Do not tell me that I should love little less the gorgeous fair skinned Kashmir as and pathan Khannums or FATA or FANA beauties or the very loving gold skin Punjabis, Sindhis, Baloch's and Urdu speakers ex migrants from India. I see more inter-provincial love amongst Paks--Punjabis, Sindhis, Pathans, Kashmiris, Baloch's etc. Who cares about little fights amongst Pak leaders, when the Pak people have affinity within? I would really love Pak people love each other maxed, no matter what kind they are. At least most and all common Pak people have not robbed the country.
I do not see gloom on Pak people face whenever I visit the country. The common and content Pak seems to me as more happy and lovely angel, fairy or hoori. And it doesn’t matter if they are not financially very well off. Just a year ago, I saw these moneyless (calling them poor is sin as they were very lovable in looks) girls whistling and dancing on passer-bys in Muree. They must be some of the prettiest bunch walking on planet earth. These angels and hoories and fairies even whistled at lucky me for my heart's delight. I love Pakistan in those modes and who cares about damn attention on those boring and twice tested political adventurism. That politics is not my soup---I love and kiss in my heart about what I saw in Murree and elsewhere in Pakistan in those pretty souls. Do not worry if you see few political hoodlums, as they cannot win my attention or sympathy.

The problem with Pakistan is the need to grow and mature as a nation and as a country. After 62 yrs it is still in its nascent stage of evolution of institutions. Of the millions of questions that spring to mind and the predictive answers, one stands out starkly we think and act as individuals and not as parties or institutions adding insult to injury we are not even honest to ourselves but live in a make belief world where our egos have become our gods, which as a result has gained enormous parasitic potential and proportion. A politician will try to get something out of the party for himself, he will use it as a tool to satisfy his power urge and build up an ego. In fact, he uses it not to represent people but to project himself and increase his power for his own individualistic use (extending only to his family). All endeavours are put to this use and is fostered and nurtured by never ending array of sycophants not to mention the exploitation of innocent uneducated downtrodden masses and thus he enjoys being a demi-god, loves the power the people give him, which he abuses and manipulates people with end result erosion of values, resource and of course institutions, thus parties loose ideologies, policies and stagger under uncertainty. What Pakistan is witnessing in wake of the court judgments against Sharif bothers is disgraceful. Irrespective of whether this decision is just or not this is not the way for the party leaders or workers to respond. In these very desperate trying times for our country, uncertainty on two borders, thousands of lives being brutally lost to a cause intent on destroying the country and what do we see from this leader of opposition; like a pharaoh demonstrating his power to destroy public and private properties he instigates his workers to violent protest (which a poor, constantly alms begging country can ill afford). Mature bearded adults beating themselves and rolling on the ground. What is this? Why was this effusive emotional display not there for the troubles of the people of the northern areas, where people were slaughtered and dead bodies desecrated and hung in public squares did they not want support? Was it even Islamic to desecrate dead bodies, even the ulema did not denounce it. What is the worst scenario the two brothers removed from power or potential power (already tested and tried)? Does the party not have any more potential leaders or others not trust worthy enough to be entrusted the power mantle; so distrustful are they of their own workers the only substitute that they can think of is Mrs. Nawaz Sharif? What political attributes does this lady have besides marriage to the illustrious Sharifs in these troubling times? They really do take the masses for idiots, all that they want, whether elected or otherwise is to have dynasties not democracies, democracy has been reduced to a mere slogan to get to power once in power everyone becomes a dictator, dynasty or deity. So what is happening is that the individual is taking precedence over party interests and as long as this continues not only in politics but other institutions as well they will never stand the chance of overcoming adversity we have to think above and beyond individualistic thinking and short term gains. We need to encourage collective thought, behaviour and policies to pull the country out of this quagmire, otherwise, we will finally succeed in destroying the country and all will have been complacent, the political parties, the institutions including the religious ones as well the ignorance of the masses. We have already lost part of it in 1971 due to the same thinking trend, which part is to be sacrificed now for someone's ego trip? I think we can all predict that but how many will genuinely try to prevent it?

The 64 dollar question one would like to ask Mr. Zardari why did he dissolve a functioning legislature after a bunch of PCO judges disqualified the Chief Minister? Was the court verdict against the PML (N) Punjab legislature? -- or against its Chief minister. In any democratic set up worth the salt -- if the chief of the party resigns the deputy chief is supposed to take over his place till the parliamentary party chooses its new leader. The question being asked in Washington DC is why this perfidious maneuvering against the majority government at a time like this by the president of the country whose own minority party is in coalition with the same provincial government -- except to deliberately destroy the precarious stability of a hapless country under assault from so many quarters inside as well outside the country.
What President Zardari did to the largest province of Pakistan, the Punjab -- the linchpin of Pakistan existence -- and to its duly elected, solidly anchored, rock stable -- and to one of the most efficiently run provincial governments anywhere in the subcontinent -- by promulgating the governor’s rule – is the most disgusting despicable disastrous destructive unlawful act Mr. Zaradari has committed personally (not his PPP nor his helpless PM) -- an odious act that almost borders on treason – snatching the instruments of law and order from an elected legislature and giving it to an unelected, un-urbane, un-turbaned turncoat enforcer of Musharraffian Mafia -- in an ignoble illegal shameless imitation of the Nov 3rd day of ignoble ignominy -- that is the notorious Emergency in Pakistan -- that finally devoured the 'clever' man who promulgated it just to save his own presidency -- (a lesson for the next president?) Mr. Zardari’s bizarre act of firing a fairly and squarely elected legislature with a clear mandate to govern Punjab -- and then giving the government to an erratic adolescent unstable disruptive little quisling -- certainly qualifies him if not as the mother -- as the father of all the blunderbusses that ever came to rule Pakistan. With this ignoble act Mr. Zardari has made Pakistan a laughing stock of world democracy -- further demeaned and destabilized an already destabilized country by fighting for its survival under the onslaught of home grown jihadi terrorism -- a country in peril economically, militarily, politically -- with only two weeks of monetary reserves at a time to run the country -- with a begging bowl to begging bowl financial existence. Mr. Zardari thinks he is so clever – but in fact like Musharraf he is a little too clever for his own good – his too much ‘cleverness’ in trying to keep himself two steps ahead and abreast of his NRO imaginary or real 'reversal'-- reminds me of a Lahore’s proverbial Qazi and his ‘clever’ thief servant -- whose kleptomaniac psyche in its epiphany of cleverness -- made him cut his own honesty stick one inch shorter to keep it even -- and at pace -- with the sticks of the Qazi’s other three honest servants.
Is this the fault of Iftikhar Chaudry or Aitzaz Ahsan or of Sharif brothers that the kleptomaniac psyche of Mr. Zardari is haunted by the ghosts and demons of his Musharraf-chained NRO – whose imaginary irrational fear of reversal makes Mr. Zardari restless at night -- and cut his own 'honesty stick' shorter and shorter to keep pace with the honest folks of his great country. Nobody else but Mr. Zardari’s own demons and ghosts of his own unflattering NRO past are chasing him around like a psychotic dog chased by his own tail -- that makes him do such weird self-contradictory somersaults in his less than honest reborn political career -- part of it is definitely Musharrafian-endowed -- certainly not the doings of either Nawaz Sharif or Shahbaz Sharif.
President Obama people can be superficially polite and stiff lipped by saying that disqualification of Sharif brothers and the imposition of governor’s rule in democratically functioning Punjab are Pakistan’s 'internal affairs' -- but everybody in Washington knows they are not. They are whopping mad at Mr. Zardari for the reckless timing and the crazy manner in which he has jeopardized the whole war against Al Qaida cum Talibani terrorism -- with one after another buffoonish blunders – first surrendering Swat to terrorists -- then destabilizing stable Punjab and all for pure selfish self promoting reasons. Driven by his own demons Mr. Zardari has personally put an already unstable Pakistan on a destructive centrifugal course way over the precipice through his weird way of reconciliation by repeatedly going back on his given word -- and with his bizarre notions of political, economic, and territorial stability -- carried out through uncouth unprincipled compromises and self-destructive hatchet jobs.
The consensus in Washington is building that to start with – the semi literate Mr. Zardari was neither qualified to become the president of the country in the first place -- nor he should continue any further if Pakistan has to liberate itself from both internal and external quagmires -- if it has to stay as one country -- if it has to stay viable and prosperous and in harmony -- not in confrontation -- with the rest of his own country -- and against his neighboring countries and against the countries of the 21st century world. Looks like -- just like his mentor Mr. Clever Musharraf -- Mr. Zardari’s has also overplayed his clever hands too cleverly for his own good -- and like Mr. Musharraf's Mr. Zardari goose is cooked as good as well -- as they say like father like son.

Nawaz brothers must act wisely and must abandon their obstinate attitude, which has harmed them greatly. Why they don't learn from their past mistakes and are now bent on vandalism. They are refined persons in thinking but they need to look at their attitude and behavior, which is most important. Everything can be mended. Their insistence on judges is futile as the whole issue created by so-called champion Iftikhar Chaudhry is a personal vendatta and nothing else. Let us not put the country on stake because of personal scores.

Pakistan was making progress in last session during Pervez Musharraf government with few exceptions. As, exceptions are expected from any human being. The development made by the Musharaf govt. in the field of technology, education and agriculture was highly palpable. These achievements were not seen in the entire history of Pakistan. Coordination of Sharif brothers and Mr. Asif Ali Zardari leads to finish a progressive govt. just to satisfy thirst of their own benefits. In addition to that Mr. Nawaz Sharif disgraced the Supreme Court in revenge of Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah. So this is the actual gesture of Mr. Sharif. This is the fight for individual benefits of Mr. Zardari and Mr. Sharif no one is in favour of republics of Pakistan.

Another dark night has commenced in Pakistan. The only glimmer of light has vanished and a last nail in the coffin of fragile and weak democracy in Pakistan. Its repercussions are severe. Its consequences will be catastrophic. The country is moving towards a civil war. The two major parties of Pakistan are on a dangerous collision course. It is time to act now before it is too late. Our politicians must show some maturity and political acumen. They are responsible for the present state of affairs, thanks to their selfish and bloated egos. Their actions have damaged every institution of this country. Their vested interests have always taken precedence to the national interests. They waste no opportunity to demonstrate their evil designs and corrupt nature. We live in a country, which was formed on high ideals, but was run by the most corrupt, evil and loathsome human beings.
