* Ppsycho-analyses of pervaiz musharraf |
 |
| |
I just want to let Mr. Farooq know that Pakistan was divided under a military ruler Gen. Yahya Khan, but he should know that it was the great civilian politician, who was mainly responsible for this. It is easy to blame but it should also acknowledge that it did not separate just because of military rule rather it was building up for years. At least, in Yahya's time Pakistan got the fairest elections and if our politicians screwed the chance up, then some blame goes to the people of Pakistan also, who elected them. |

* Ban On Kite Flying |
 |
| |
It really makes us to think that who is running Punjab government because a news item published on March 9, 2006 stated that Musharraf would be coming to Lahore to celebrate Basant and on the same evening the ban was put on the kite flying. The pretext was killing of motorcyclists and thankfully no one died on the same day of ban.
Culture is so powerful that it makes nations and countries evolve, but cannot be kept in restrictions. This unique culture of Lahore is being destroyed by some people who don’t belong to Lahore. They have imposed ban on Basant to please the people in their own constituencies miles and miles away from the land of Lahore to show them that they have prevented Lahorites from celebrating an “ Anti-Islamic event,” which has been the demand of their religious circles and MMA has supported it too.
If security is the issue, then the City and Punjab Governments should see and compare how many people are daily killed by resisting against the theft because now they have been compelled to defend themselves rather than depending on government. Government should see the speed with which street crimes were increasing. People are killed just for having mobile phones. Killing of any innocent is an evil act, but will government dare to compare the number of people died by kites and by mobile snatchers?
The people of Lahore have solved the problem of getting neck injury by wearing neck collar and by putting guard on the motorcycles, which the City and Punjab governments could not think even in four years. Yes, police came to arrest kite flyers with ladder, but amazingly most of them were of size which could be used for arresting only people standing on the roofs of 3 or 5 marla houses, no arrangement was made to arrest people of 15 marls or even 1 or 5 kanal houses. So the law again came in action to arrest the poor and what the rich people have done it is clear from the electronic media.
Let the Lahorites sit together representing the kite flying and motorcycle owner associations to sort out this problem. Motorcycle manufacturers should also be engaged to introduce R&D to develop guards to prevent any such kind of accident because in Lahore along with other small cities like Rawalpindi, Kasur and Gujraat (home town of CM Punjab) etc., Basant is celebrated and problem of neck cutting persists there too.
The government needs to be rational on this issue because a large number of girls prepare their dowry within their Chader and Chardewari, many people earn their living by making and selling kites, to save the art of kites making, it helps circulation of money and boosts economy, plus to represent the soft image of Pakistan to counter what religious extremists have done to Lahore on 14th of February this year.

* slow costruction of Islamabad Highway |
 |
| |
Now a day Islamabad Highway is under construction and it is being constructed in a very slow manner. Many accidents have been occurring because of single road available for high-rush traffic. It is also strange that the maintenance of the existing road is also very poor. National highway and CDA authorities should take immediate action to rectify the problem. |

* NISHTAR PARK EXPLOSION |
 |
| |
I am extremely saddened by this tragedy. One thing for sure, this is an act, which can’t be done by a Muslim, as it was a meeting to celebrate birth of the greatest Prophet of God (PBUH) and I must tell you that Sunnis and Shiates of Pakistan are united, as both the communities love Muhammad (PBUH) and his Aal (family) and Ashaabs (colleagues).
This is for sure beneficial for those who are raising the slogans of change of government or for those against whom government is taking action in Pakistan or those who are sitting abroad and desperate to bring changes in Pakistan by hook or crook. It was the saddest day in Pakistan history as the Muslims were celebrating the occasion of Prophet's birth with respect and dignity, while this savage act perpetrated. May Allah rest the souls of departed ones and get Pakistani Muslims united against evils trying to bring Iraq like situation in Pakistan.
